The airport of Natal is frequented by a number of airlines. These are largely national airlines. The main ones are TAM, GOL and Oceanair. They fly nationally and internationally. The other Brazilian airlines often have a regional character and maintain the routes from Natal towards the Amazon and the south of Brazil. Internationally, there are a few airlines flying directly to Natal. These are mostly airlines from southern European countries like Portugal and Spain. Furthermore, there are a few flights directly from Amsterdam, London and Stockholm.
